World Trade Center

Work-print footage shows the World Trade Center as both a major construction project and a functioning complex. Dockside scenes include cargo containers, vehicles, and heavy equipment, while welders and steelworkers labor on exposed framing high above the streets. Views through the unfinished structure convey the immense scale of the work.

Inside, technicians service large racks of wiring and electronic components, and staff operate control panels and use telephones. Exterior views emphasize a tower’s closely spaced vertical ribs, while crowded public spaces show the complex in use. Together, these scenes connect the skyscraper with the labor, machinery, and technical systems involved in its construction and operation.
