Valley Town (1940) is a social documentary directed by Willard Van Dyke about the effects of new technology on workers and residents in a Pennsylvania steel town, focusing on unemployment during the Great Depression. Produced by the Educational Film Institute of New York University and Documentary Film Producers, Inc., it features photography by Roger Barlow and Bob Churchill and music by Marc Blitzstein.
