Match Your Mood

19686 min 30 sec52 shots

This music-driven promotional film shows how decorative coverings can change the appearance of a Westinghouse refrigerator. A title names a “Supreme Walnut” finish, while other sequences pair the appliance with colorful kitchenware motifs, floral designs, and bold geometric patterns. A woman measures and cuts patterned material, then fits the decoration to the refrigerator’s panels.

Models pose or dance beside refrigerators whose designs match their clothing and surroundings, including one appliance covered in a black-and-white optical pattern. A jack-o’-lantern and other playful images suggest that the refrigerator’s appearance can change with different tastes or moods. The film closes with the spoken slogan, “Westinghouse. The complete refrigerator. Compare.”
