This dramatized safety film follows Earlene Williams, a schoolgirl who refuses a stranger’s offer of a ride, records his car’s license number, and tells her mother, who dismisses the incident. The same man later persuades another girl to enter his old, light-colored car while a boy watches.

After the younger girl fails to return home for lunch, her mother contacts the school, where staff search the grounds and question students. The boy describes the man and car, and Earlene supplies the license number she recorded, allowing police to focus their search, arrest the man, and return the missing child home unharmed.

The closing lesson urges parents to take suspicious encounters seriously and make safety rules part of family life. Children are expected to resist strangers, report attempted approaches, and remember useful details, while families must repeatedly reinforce these precautions.
