At Belmont’s 150th anniversary celebration, the Belmont Historical Society presents a community gathering focused on the town’s history and future. Participants view posters created by Belmont schoolchildren imagining the town’s development, while a moderated discussion recalls the lengthy, costly campaign for incorporation. The event documents local civic memory, education, and community identity.
