This 1948 educational film surveys the operations of a large city airport, following an arriving airliner, the preparation and departure of a passenger flight, and a private pilot’s preflight planning. It depicts air traffic control, ticketing, aircraft servicing, catering, baggage and mail handling, weather forecasting, flight plans, runway clearance, and takeoff.
